1. Wilt. 100. 8.6. 50. 5.5. 68.2. No one. Even. Comes. Close.
2. Hakeem. Not Kareem. Winning a championship in the Jordan Era is hard enough without Jordan. With Jordan? It should be pretty impossible. Credit the Shake for that.
3. Kareem. You get your due, big fella. No one scored more points. No one will come close. That sky hook is nasty.
4. Bill Russell n' Flow. The greatest champion. 11 champs in 13 seasons. Speaks for itself. Maybe not the greatest skill wise, but 11 championships in 13 seasons is like FDR territory in terms of presidential years.
5. Artis Gilmore. The ABA's own goliath. Gets almost no love. Gilmore was like mini-Stilt.
6. Maurice Stokes. Guilty. Three seasons that good, but only three. So? Grant Hill doesn't deserve the top 10 SF because of injuries? I disagree. This is a talent/winning competition, not a could've won championship. Stokes gets the nod.
7. David Robinson. The Admiral was Shaq-ish, but not overly Shaq-ish. I give the Diesel less credit than he's worth. The Admiral was the real deal, truthfully.
8. Shaq. Fine. He deserves it, but he's down the list a ways.
9. Moses. What a career, what a span of time. The ultimate basketball player. Great playing, long career. Perfect. Plus, he had a spunky attitude that will probably be unmatched in all of sports.
10. Mikan. The first big giant.
